3. AI Assistant & Voice Data (Illinois BIPA Disclaimer)

Our website features an intelligent AI avatar ("Boots") that allows you to interact via text chat or voice. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Nature of Interaction: You are communicating with an Artificial Intelligence, not a human. The AI uses technology to transcribe your voice into text and generate responses in real-time.

  • No Biometric Data: We do NOT collect, capture, store, or use biometric identifiers or biometric information (such as "voiceprints" or face geometry) from you. Your audio is processed solely for immediate transcription and response generation.

  • Data Processing: When you speak to the assistant, audio is securely streamed to our third-party processors (Google and Anthropic) for transcription. We do not retain raw audio recordings after processing is complete.

  • Conversation Storage: Text transcripts of your conversations are stored in our secure database to maintain context during your visit and improve our services.

  • Accuracy: The AI is an automated system and may occasionally produce incorrect information. Please verify critical details (such as appointment times) before relying on them.

4. SMS Communications Policy

By providing your phone number to Boots On The Ground AI™ (Boots AI), you consent to receive SMS messages regarding your inquiries or appointments.

  • Purpose: Your phone number will only be used to send SMS confirmations, reminders, or updates related to your bookings or specific inquiries.

  • Consent: You will only receive SMS messages if you explicitly opt in via our website, chat assistant, or by texting a keyword to our shortcode.

  • Frequency: You may receive 1–4 messages per booking (e.g., confirmation, 24-hour reminder, rescheduling). Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt-Out: You may cancel SMS at any time by texting **STOP**. After unsubscribing, you will no longer receive messages unless you re-subscribe. For assistance, reply HELP or email damara@bootsagentai.com.

  • Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers necessary to deliver our services, who are contractually bound to protect your data:

  • Database: Supabase (for secure data storage).

  • AI Processing: Google and Anthropic (for generating AI responses).

  • Communications: Twilio (for delivering SMS messages).

  • Calendar: Google Calendar (for appointment scheduling).

We implement reasonable security measures (including encryption and secure database access) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
