The Generation That Got Left Behind — And Why I'm Doing Something About It

She introduced him like any proud mom would. "This is my son — just graduated, super smart, works really hard." We were standing on the sixth hole, iced tea in hand, and I smiled the way you do when you're genuinely happy for someone. Then she said the quiet part out loud: he can't find a job.
